11-12-5 -8.33 units

English Premiership: 5-4-4 -1.85 units.
Champion's League: 1-2 -4.50 units.
English Championship: 2-3 -3.02 units.
UEFA Cup: 1-1 +0.81 units
Italy Serie A: 2-0-1 +6.27 units
Scottish Premier: 0-1 -3.09 units.
Holland Eredivisie: 0-1 -3.00 units.

On Tuesday, I was a bit unlucky with a 4.5 unit swing on my bankroll when Lyon decided to add on a 3rd goal in the 90th minute against Steau. As a punter in football, this has happened to me too many times but the sting is always the same. Steau's poor form showed. It pissed me off , but I move on to Wednesday.

Inter Milan vs. Bayern Munich

Inter Milan are coming off a 4-3 victory over Chievo Verona on the weekend in the serie A. What a bizarre score for a top-tier team right? Well, Inter was up 4-0 and the team conceded 3 goals in the span of 13 minutes after Roberto Mancini decided to make some substitutions. Mancini will make sure that won't happen again in tomorrow's match.

In Champion's League play, Inter traveled to Portugal to lose their first fixture against Sporting Lisbon. If Inter were not to produce a result against Bayern, they would have to primarily focus on collecting 3 points in Russia and against Sporting on the return fixture, a situation this team doesn't want to have.

Coach Mancini held his press conference for the match and said that the team needs to remain cool, confident, and have a positive attitude towards this match. He has warned his players of Bayern's offensive prowess and they can't afford another defensive lapse like Chievo. Overall, the team is aware of the position they're in and know they have to make ammends for the loss they took at Sporting Lisbon.

Bayern Munich is coming into this match with a win over Alemania Aachen in the Bundesliga. In that match, Bayern went down a goal before waking up to take a 2-1 victory. In the post-match conference, Coach Magath agreed that his players were looking ahead to Wednesday's fixture against Inter and didn't have their complete focus for the whole game.

Bayern thrashed Spartak Moscow 4-0 in their opening fixture of the divisional matchups. They are not in the greatest form as of now, with their defense very vulnerable to having lapses during the game. They lost to AC Milan 4-1 in last year's Champion's league which will certainly be on their minds. However, Magath admitted that his team has a long way to go to reach the form that they were in last year. Bayern player Philipp Lahm is calling on his teammates to produce a clean sheet in tomorrow's game. He's been in the receiving end of Germany's losses in the World Cup and to Milan and believes the team is very capable of producing a positive result at the San Siro.

However, there is a small probability of this German club holding such a talented Italian side scoreless in its own stadium in desperate circumstances. Bayern's inconsistent form was shown against Alemania, and against their away loss to Arminia Bielfeield, one of the weaker teams in the Bundesliga. I am betting on Inter Milan -1/2 -103 to re-establish their position in the tables with a victory against Bayern. They know very well anything less than a win will not be enough with the position they're in. Bayern exudes confidence going into this match, but the team is not playing to its potential and is still vulnerable in the back. Maybe they will blossom as the season progresses, but I don't think the German side is ready to produce a win in the San Siro just yet. Inter is in good form, on top of the Serie A, and should come through tomorrow on their home turf.

Inter Milan -1/2 -103 to win 3 units. Good Luck on whatever you play tomorrow.

valencia / roma

Agreed,

I'm with you on the Inter Side.

Looking strongly at Valencia / Roma Total.

AS ROMA may be the best kept secret in Champions league; they are stocked. Dark horse to win it all. If Valencia's midfield (mediocre at best)
collapses, Roma may very well score 2 in the first half, forcing Valencia
on full attack on Roma's talented but inexperienced defence.

I think that is the best total play on the board today. As Roma and Valencia both love to attack and are capable of scoring at will. The Greek has over/under at 2 goals -127. That is almost a steal where I doubt only one goal will be scored.

I also liked Werder Bremen/Barcelona over but am afraid that a 2-0 result is very possible.

You know what, I'm going to play that roma/valencia total for 2 units. Nice find my friend.

i like you write up on the inter match and it is correct, but my conclusion is not to play inter, but play the over. dont b e fooled by münchen s games in germany. they are struggelin with performance and still need some time to adjust to life after ballack, but in germany they are famous for producing the result (as vs. aachen) with least efford. Champions-league is a different story, as shown in the moskau match, which was probably their only good match so far this season. i am not saying they are able to get a draw today, but they are usually a very dangerous away team and should be able to score against inter, which also seems to struggle a bit on defense. then with the "must win situation" you are describing there should be a good chance for the over.
Inter/bayern over 2

I totally agree on the roma over 2 (best play on the board)

i also like the bremen/barca over...bremen normally scores at home (ok they did not last year vs. barca) and there will be definetely many scoring chances for them at home. I am also very confident that Barca will score at least once, so basically i am rooting for one team to score twice to bring the over.
Bremen/barca over 2.5

iam still thinking about bordeaux-psv. normally it should be an under (even at 2), but psv is missing a lot of players, so i am thinking about taking the french at pk,-0.5. only problem for me is i have no idea how good they are as i am not following the french league. Lyon is very solid (that s all iknow), lille was very diapponting yesterday. they only played for a draw at home the whole match. How about bordeaux? any info would be nice.

Bordeaux is seven on their league, with 7 games played with 4 wins and 3 losses, but i think it will be a good pk bordeaux, considering your tip that psv is missing a lot of players and the fact that PSV have failed to score in 6 of their last 8 Champions League matches and that have lost 4 of their last 5 CL games.

Bordeaux is an up-and down team. Win 4, lose 3. There is no consistency in this french club but I am sure they will try their hardest to put a positive result against PSV. PSV has somewhat of an injury crisis for this match as Cocu got hurt against Den Hoag. Based on past performances, you can never count this team out. I think it's a bit risky to play Bordeaux here as PSV has more experience, but are short-handed. Could go either way imo.

Inter/Bayern could very well go over, but from reading the reports, Bayern is hoping just to get a draw there in the San Siro. These comments usually don't bode well on the pitch. I see possible score-lines of 1-0, 2-0, 1-1, and maybe 2-1. But with a 2 goal total at the the greek, it seems like a decent bet. I just don't like having two bets for one game so I'll just stick with Inter.

Do bad we can't get a half-time line on the Roma game. First 25 min could decide the pace AND FAITH of the match. (i.e. quick goals from AS ROMA)
Nonetheless:

I will play:
3 units on AS ROMA over 2
1.5 units Inter
1.5 units Inter Over 2

Good luck to all

Cheers

joey, great day yesterday my friend. We need to have a strong weekend before the international break.

Poor Turkish team is already down 2-0.
Valencia 1-0.

Inter and Bayern still 0-0.

28 minutes...all it took to go over....my apologies to all for my previous post:

Wait one second! The laws of probabilty state that the prediction of seemingly unpredictable variables reinforces future preditctions.WOW!

It surely means that:

collapses, Roma may very well score 2 in the first half, forcing Valencia

12-13-5 -9.42 units

English Premiership: 5-4-4 -1.85 units.
Champion's League: 2-3 -5.59 units.
English Championship: 2-3 -3.02 units.
UEFA Cup: 1-1 +0.81 units
Italy Serie A: 2-0-1 +6.27 units
Scottish Premier: 0-1 -3.09 units.
Holland Eredivisie: 0-1 -3.00 units

That performance was a disgrace and I had the over circled in the Liverpool game and I ignored it. Frustrating night, in fact a week for me. Tomorrow, I have two games circled for the UEFA cup (Odense vs. Hertha Berlin and Chievo vs. SC Braga). I'll provide the plays later tonight or tomorrow.
